UBLO windows were first installed in a Hanok. HYUSIM aim to be the world's first hanok to obtain passive certification (Germany & Korea). The site was damaged by a fire last year, leaving only the base of the building behind, so the neighbors planted saplings again in the pine-covered hill. We hope that the owner and his family can enjoy happy times with many people in the newly rejuvenated HYUSIM Pension!

Returning to the HYUSIM site in Gangneung after a year,I was met with a landscape now gently healing from the scars of the fire — embraced by lush greenery.
With the grand opening just around the corner, the site was busy with final touches.
Imagining how beautiful this place will be in every season, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of peace and calm settle in.
