UBLO, The world’s first
personalized ventilation window
UBLO is a circular window installed directly into glass without linear operating frames. The title Ublo derives from the word hublot, or the round window of ships and airplanes. The idea of this circular ventilation window was initiated in 2017 by Dutch architect and Co-founder of VS-A façade engineering group Robert-Jan van SANTEN.
Why UBLO?
By deleting frames, UBLO can be designed to be transparent to give even clearer glass visual. UBLO is placed in the upper and lower parts of the bay - increasing efficiency of natural ventilation. UBLO reduces energy consumption as well as lowers the cost of window.
UBLO in the City
Seen from the outside, the unique circular geometry of UBLO expresses the city’s creativity. With lighting features installed, UBLO highlights the excellent night view of the building.
