Ublo ventilation system was invented by Dutch architect Robert-Jan Van Santen. In 2018, together with Korean architect Kim Naree, a Korean corporation was established and received investment from InfoBank Corporation.
Ublo Corporation collaborates with VSA Group, an architectural façade engineering company, to develop its products. Since 2017, Ublo has been actively engaged in ventilation window research projects under the supervision of the Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning (KETEP), in collaboration with Yonsei University Graduate School of Architecture. Through various government-supported startup and research and development initiatives (such as Leading Venture-Linked Startup Support Program and Ddiddomol Startup Project), Ublo continues to advance its technological development.
